Multi Operator Self Exclusion Scheme

The service allows people to register an initial wish to self-exclude, add premises to an existing self-exclusion, renew a self-exclusion when it has been in place for a year and record any notifications of a wish to return to gambling after the year of self-exclusion has expired.

To help customers stay in control, we encourage them to take breaks from gambling. You can do this through the time out option, which lets you freeze your account for between one day and 6 weeks. Time Outs are available to customers with online accounts through the My Info tab, followed by Responsible Gambling.

For customers who are experiencing harm from their gambling, self-exclusion is an option to help them take back control. You can request to be refused service and prevented from gambling for a period of between 6 months to 5 years.

To make these self-exclusions most effective, we are committed to both the online and shop multi operator self-exclusion initiatives. This means that if you choose to self-exclude, to get away from gambling for a minimum of six months, you will ban yourself from all the major UK providers – not just one.
