It’s back. Our global effort to support our communities is underway.
Since our Close to HOME community commitment was launched in 2015, our colleagues have dedicated over 13,000 hours of time and effort to give back to our communities around the world.
Our International Community Week will take place from 19th- 26th March, where our colleagues will be organising Close to HOME projects to give back to their communities.
Over 300 colleagues across the company took part in our International Community Week 2017. And this year we’re hoping to go one better and make an even bigger contribution to our local communities.
From Manila,to Nevada, Sofia, Krakow, Gibraltar and right across the UK, activities to support local charities and initiatives will be taking place throughout the week.

Over 30 colleagues have signed up to take part in a blood donation during Community Week
London based colleagues will be getting involved with 2 separate local projects; first doing some conservation work in a community park and then working with the Canal and River Trust to clean one of London’s locks.
Our Leeds offices will be accepting donations throughout the week for jackets, football shirts and easter eggs to distribute to 3 respective charities: St George’s Crypt, KitAid and St Gemma’s Hospice.
Our colleagues in Manila will be working with 2 of their long standing Close to HOME partners, Bahay Aurora and Project Casili, across 3 days of the Community Week. They will be delivering music, arts and photography lessons as well as an educational tour around Kidzania to children from both organisations.

Our team in Sofia will returning to St Iliya Church to help prepare and serve breakfast for people in need who visit the church every Saturday. The team will also be running a bake sale earlier in the week to raise money for the Church.
