Wenger’s Odds Cut Again…Odds Point To Summer Departure…Europa League Last Chance

For the fifth time in a fortnight, Arsene Wenger’s odds of being the next manager to go have been cut. He is now 4/1, which is half the price he was before the Brighton game (8/1). On the 25th February he was a whopping 40/1.

“The money keeps coming in for Wenger to be the next manager to go and his odds have already been cut twice since the start of the Brighton game on Sunday,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Wenger is 1/2 to still be manager of Arsenal on the final day of this season but 4/9 to have left the club by the start of next season, indicating a summer move is on the cards for Wenger.

“The odds all point to Wenger leaving in the summer, however, they still have a shot at the Europa League – for which they are the second favourites,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “If the Gunners can somehow lift that trophy and qualify for the Champions League, there may yet be one last hurrah for Wenger next season.”
