Ole’s Gunnar Get The Job…Will United Lift A Trophy?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been confirmed as Manchester United manager for the remainder of the season and has immediately become the favourite to bag the job on a permanent basis with William Hill. The ‘baby faced assassin’ is odds-on at 4/6 to be in charge of the club come the first day of next season, with Mauricio Pochettino the 4/1 second favourite.

Solskjaer has a free hit for the remainder of the season and United are 4/5 to remain exactly where they are in sixth place in the league, however, the side can be backed at 6/1 to lift any trophy this season.

“Solskjaer is a legend and comes into a club in turmoil, as a result he will already have plenty of good favour from the fans,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Should he only slightly improve the situation at Old Trafford, there is every chance he could bag the job on a permanent basis.”
