Wimbledon: 50/1 Great British Double

An injured Andy Murray has got a kind draw and William Hill have pushed out the price of him being knocked out in the first round from 8/1 to 10/1. Murray is the 7/2 favourite to win back to back Wimbledon titles. Meanwhile, Johanna Konta is proving herself on grass and she is the 9/1 third favourite to win the Ladies’ title. It is 50/1 that we have a British winner of both the Men’s and Ladies’ title, for the first time in the Open Era.

“Andy Murray needed a favourable draw in order to get back to full fitness and he has got it,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams. “There are a few commentators out there who think we could see a Great British double at Wimbledon this year.”
