Will The Premier League Be Hamstrung By Weather This Weekend?

With snow set to fall this week, William Hill are predicting this weekend’s football fixtures could well be affected, offering 4/1 that a Premier League match is postponed due to inclement weather.

“These days, most sides have undersoil heating and in recent years, we have seen that it isn’t the conditions inside the grounds that has caused the cancellation of a match, rather those outside and with a prolonged period of cold being forecast, that could well come into consideration this weekend,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill are also offering 8/1 that the coldest temperature record is broken in England, Scotland or Wales by the end of April and it is 25/1 that Parliament closes for weather reasons by the same time.
