Wenger Set To Stay With Decision Just A Day Away

With a decision on Arsene Wenger’s future set to be announced on Wednesday, William Hill think it is all but certain that he will stay offering 1/7 that he takes charge of the Gunners’ first Premier League match of next season. It is 4/1 that he has left.

Should he stay, Wenger will have a job on his hands trying to keep his big name players with Alexis Sanchez juat 8/13 to be a Bayern Munich player by the time the summer transfer window closes. The good news, however is that Mesut Ozil is 1/2 to remain at Arsenal this summer.

“After Arsenal lost to West Brom, Arsene Wenger’s odds of failing to be in charge for the following season were the shortest that they have ever been, however, a late resurgence in the table which left them just short of Champions League football plus another FA Cup makes us think he is almost certain to sign on the dotted line tomorrow if he hasn’t already,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
