Wenger Odds On To Go For The First Time Ever

William Hill have slashed the odds on Arsene Wenger leaving Arsenal by the start of next season from Even money to 4/7 overnight.

“Wednesday night’s performance against Bayern Munich was one of Arsenal’s worst ever European nights and it looks as though a legacy of continental disappointment with the Gunners will see Mr Wenger finally step away from the club at the end of the season,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “For the first time since taking over, Arsene Wenger is odds on to leave.”

William Hill have co-favourites of three to take over from Wenger when the time eventually comes with Eddie Howe, Massimilliano Allegri and Thomas Tuchel all 6/1.

Will Arsene Wenger be Arsenal manager on 1st day of the 17/18 Premier League season: 4/7 no; 5/4 yes

Next permanent Arsenal manager: 6/1 Eddie Howe; 6/1 Massimilliano Allegri; 6/1 Thomas Tuchel; 12/1 Patrick Vieira; 14/1 Joachim Low; 14/1 Luis Enrique; 20/1 Diego Simeone; 20/1 Jorge Sampaoli; 20/1 Remi Garde; 25/1 BAR
