The 1975 Favourites For Two Gongs At NME Awards

The 1975 could be the big winners of the NME awards if the betting is to believed. Bookies, William Hill, make them 5/4 to win Best Album and 6/4 to win Best Band. Skepta is 6/4 to win Best Male, to follow up his Mercury win. The closest race comes in the Best Female category where Adele and Charli XCX sharing favouritism at 7/4.


“The 1975 have had a stellar year and look set to follow it up with a couple of awards at the NME bash,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “But can Adele finally get beat.”


Glastonbury is odds on at 1/3 to scoop the award for the Best Festival.
