One Way Traffic For La Land Ahead Of Oscars
The countdown has begun for the Oscars and La La Land looks set to win big. Bookies, William Hill make Emma Stone and Damien Chazelle 1/6 and 1/20 respectively to win Best Actress and Best Director. It is also 1/9 to win the Best Picture award.
Hills are also betting on how many of the “Big Four” (Film, Actor, Actress and Director) the movie picks up and it is 2/5 to win three and 10/1 to win four. It can also be backed at 7/2 to match or break the record of 11 Oscars.
“La La Land was put into our betting for Best Picture at 9/2 on September 1st with the hype just beginning and since then, we have seen one way traffic with well over two thirds of all bets placed on it,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
