NTAs: EastEnders Favourite For Best Drama As Ant And Dec Set To Dominate Again!

In the annual battle between EastEnders and Coronation Street at the NTAs, William Hill believe it is the London show that will bag the award for Best Serial Drama. EastEnders is 8/11 with Coronation Street 6/4. Emmerdale is 9/2 with Hollyoaks 25/1.

“There have been a number of big storylines in soapland this year and it looks as though EastEnders has had this biggest,” said William hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

In the battle to wrestle the presenter award from Ant and Dec, William Hill think that in their last year as GBBO hosts, Mel and Sue will be the closest rivals but it will be a case of ‘close but no cigar’ as they are 8/1 to trump the 1/8 red hot favourites. After presenting Match of the Day in his boxers, Gary Lineker is 10/1.

“Ant and Dec have such a long streak that it would be easy to see them winning this award every year until they retire,” said William hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Not even the GBBO juggernaut can put a halt to their dominance.”
