Next Everton Manager: Moyes Favourite To Take Over From Koeman

With Ronald Koeman having been relieved of his job at Everton, William Hill make David Moyes the 4/1 favourite to bag the role. Moyes’ odds came in from 12/1 over the weekend.

William Hill had already seen money for the Dutchman to leave his job after defeat to Arsenal and his odds of failing to last the week tumbled from 8/11 to 4/6 on Monday morning.

David Unsworth is the 9/2 second favourite to get the job with Carlo Ancelotti and Chris Coleman 8/1 joint third favourites.

“The writing was on the wall for Koeman after a woeful start in the league and on the continent but there is no clear favourite in the betting to take over,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Having said that, there has been a fair amount of interest in Moyes returning in recent days.”
