Long Week For Conservatives As Labour Halve In Price To Win Most Seats

They say a week is a long time in politics and the odds suggest it has been just that for the Conservative Party. The betting for the Conservatives to win the most seats at the Election has gone from 1/100 to 1/20, with Labour halving in price to win the most seats from 16/1 to 8/1.

“The Conservatives remain very strong favourites but a landslide victory for them is perhaps looking far less certain,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Meanwhile the Conservative party were 1/33 to win with a majority, which is now 1/9, whilst a Labour majority has been cut from 25/1 into 11/1.

UK General Election: 1/9 Conservative majority; 7/1 no overall majority; 11/1 Labour majority; 250/1 Liberal Democrats majority; 500/1 UKIP majority

Most seats: 1/20 Conservative; 8/1 Labour; 250/1 Liberal Democrats; 500/1 UKIP; 1000/1 Greens
