Liverpool’s Hopes Of Silverware Diminishing….

A season of hope and promise is swiftly unravelling for Liverpool and they need to be careful that they do not run out of steam. Having been knocked out of the EFL Cup by Southampton on Wednesday evening, for which they were 7/1 at the start of the season, the Reds are now in real danger of ending yet another season potless.

They were 8/1 to win the Premier League at the start of the season, yet are now 10/1 (drifting from 4/1 just two weeks ago). Liverpool will be desperate for a top four finish and are 8/15 to bag one although they are 11/8 to miss out.

It would seem that their best hope of silverware is in the FA Cup, for which they are the 5/1 joint second favourites.

Jurgen Klopp is just 7/1 to have left Liverpool by the start of next season.

FA Cup winner: 4/1 Chelsea; 5/1 Liverpool; 5/1 Manchester United; 11/2 Manchester City; 6/1 Tottenham; 7/1 Arsenal; 25/1 BAR

Premier League top four (not to finish in the top four): 1/100 Chelsea (16/1); 2/7 Tottenham (9/4); 2/5 Arsenal (7/4); 8/15 Liverpool (11/8); 8/13 Manchester City (5/4); 5/4 Manchester United (8/13)

Will Jurgen Klopp be in charge of Liverpool for the first game of next season: 1/16 yes; 7/1 no
