Lib Dems Donations Rise - Seats To Follow?

WITH THE LIB DEMS receiving a greater boost to their funds than Labour in the last quarter of 2016, their fortunes are set to rise at the next General Election, according to bookmakers William Hill who quote them at odds of 1/2 to boost their tally of seats to 12 or more.

Hills also believe that current leader Tim Farron is safer in his job than any of the other four major Party leaders, and he is 12/1 to be the fist of the five to stand down, with Ukip's Paul Nuttall the 4/6 favourite, ahead of 7/4 Jeremy Corbyn, with Theresa May 9/1 and Nicola Sturgeon 10/1.

'Although the Lib Dems are starting from a pretty low level of nine, it appears that their fortunes are likely to rise come the next General Election, with our clients backing them to end up with a dozen or more seats' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
