Hamilton Favourite For Russia But Bookies Don’t Fear Him

Lewis Hamilton is the 10/11 favourite to win the Russian Grand Prix although it is Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen who have the bookies running scared. Alonso has attracted the usual patriotic Spanish money and already has five figure liabilities against his name, while Verstappen, who is out at 50/1 has been the subject of a rather lumpy £1000 wager from Birmingham resulting in the single biggest liability of the race so far.

“Despite not having all things go his way so far this season, we still think that Lewis Hamilton is the man to beat this weekend,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
