Davis, Hammond And Rees-Mogg Emerge As Frontrunners For Next Tory Party Leader

With Theresa May away on her holidays, it is believed that other politicians are eying up her position and William Hill make David Davis the favourite to become the next Conservative Party leader. Phillip Hammond who is believed to be the main conspirator is the 7/2 second favourite with Boris Johnson 4/1.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, who was 33/1 at the start of the month, is now 9/1.

Theresa May is 3/1 to no longer be PM by the start of October.

“The vultures are circling and there is a fair amount of movement at the top of the betting market suggesting that the frontrunners are jostling for position in case the PM does depart,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
