Corbyn/Nuttall Face By-Election Bye-Byes!
THURSDAY's two by elections could prove crucial for the ongoing leadership careers of Jeremy Corbyn and his Ukip counterpart Paul Nuttall.
Both have been under attack from critics and both need to win at least one of the two by-elections to head off the flak. Labour are just 7/4 with William Hill to lose in both Stoke on Trent Central AND Copeland, and 7/2 to win both seats.
Jeremy Corbyn has been backed down to odds-on at 10/11(52% chance) with Hills to stand down as leader during 2017, while Paul Nuttall is a 5/4 (44%) chance to cease to be leader this year.
The pair are also the favourites in Hill's market for which of the five major Party leaders will stand down, in which they make Corbyn 5/4 favourite, with Nuttall 9/4, ahead of 9/2 Theresa May; 7/1 Nicola Sturgeon; 10/1 Tim Farron.
'By-election defeat could mean either, one, or even both of the under-pressure leaders could theoretically stand down before the end of next week' said Hill's Media Relations Director, Graham Sharpe.
