By-Election Mayhem for Nuttall & Corbyn?

WITH TWO important but difficult-to-predict by-elections taking place on Thursday, political punters are speculating that their results could spark a change of leader for different parties and even a General Election this year.

'These are the two most talked-about by-elections for years and controversy has followed a number of the candidates throughout their campaigns. The odds suggest Labour will win in Stoke, and the Tories in Copeland, but polls and bookies have been hit by unexpected results in all manner of political contests recently' said Hill's Media Relations Director, Graham Sharpe.

Hills have seen support for a 2017 General Election, now 15/8 second favourite to be the year in which the next one takes place, with 2020 the 10/11 favourite.

Meanwhile, the by-election outcomes just might spell the beginning of the end of Party leadership for Jeremy Corbyn and Paul Nuttall who are currently 6/4 joint favourites with Hills to be the first of the major leaders to lose their job, with Theresa May 5/1; Nicola Sturgeon 8/1, Tim Farron 12/1.
