Could Boris Snub Cost Foreign Sec His Job?

DESPITE FACING criticism following the G7 'snub' for his suggested sanctions against Russia, Boris Johnson is still strongly fancied to remain as Foreign Secretary at least until January 1, 2018, say bookmakers William Hill who are offering 1/3 that he retains the role on that date, and 9/4 that he has left it by then.

Hills also make Boris 5/1 favourite to succeed Theresa May as the next elected Tory leader, with Philip Hammond a distant 10/1 second favourite, and Sajid Javid sharing third favouritism with GeorgeOsborne, both quoted at 14/1.

'Boris will always divide opinion, but we believe it is unlikely that the current criticism will unseat him as Foreign Secretary' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
