Bookies Put Muzzle On Jonjo's Bite

Jonjo O’Neill’s Doesyourdogbite is the 5-1 favourite with William Hill for this Saturday’s Lanzarote Hurdle. The market leader is unbeaten in three starts over hurdles and has been cut from 6-1 at the start of the week. William Hill are keen to keep on the right side of the horse.

“Doesyourdogbite certainly looks dangerous coming in to the Lanzarote Hurdle with an unbeaten record over jumps. He’s definitely one we want to keep on a tight leash,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “It’s a very competitive race though, with Bennys King, Sam Red and Templeross all well supported.”

Bennys King is the best-backed horse in the race and has halved in price from 12-1 to 6-1 since Monday. Sam Red makes his first start for Dan Skelton and has also been supported, from 14-1 to 11-1 with William Hill, while Templeross was cut on Wednesday from 16-1 to 12-1.

In the Classic Chase, One For Arthur is marginally the most popular and has shortened to 9-1 from 12-1 with Hills. Shotgun Paddy has also been cut since the five-day declarations and is now 10-1 from 12-1.
