Bookies Axe Odds For Death!

Death Duty won the Lawlor’s Hotel Novice Hurdle in good fashion and has been cut to 9-4 favourite from 5-2 with William Hill for the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle.

Despite falling at the last, Augusta Kate was running a huge race up to that point and has shortened to 5-1 from 6-1 with Hills for the Mares’ Novice Hurdle.

“Death Duty appears to be an exceptional animal and although the Festival is still more than two months away, he will take a lot of beating at Cheltenham,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
