Is Zac's The Way To Do It?

ZAC GOLDSMITH has been installed as odds-on favourite at 10/11 by William Hill to win the Richmond Park by-election he is triggering by resigning as a result of the Heathrow Airport expansion decision.

Goldsmith says he will stand as an independent candidate and Hills make the Lib Dems his closest challenger at odds of 11/10 with the Conservatives 10/1 shots to hold on to the seat.

'Single issue campaigners have from time to time done very well in by-elections and Mr Goldsmith is taking a calculated gamble by resigning, which just might come off' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Hills make Goldsmith 50/1 to be the next elected Tory leader.

WILLIAM HILL: RICHMOND PARK BY ELECTION.....10/11 Zac Goldsmith**; 11/10 Lib Dems; 10/1 Conservatives; 100/1 Greens; 200/1 Labour; 200/1 UKIP.

**Bets void if Goldsmith is not a candidate.
