Will The January Transfer Record Fall After £1b Window?

After the £1b mark was broken in the summer transfer window, William Hill are offering 11/8 that the record of £225m is broken in the 2017 January window.

“£1b was the next big landmark to be breached in football and with the amount of money swirling around in the top flight, it is highly likely that a January record will be broken as teams fight to stay up or challenge at the top of the table,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

A couple of England internationals were on the move on deadline day and they could well aid in their future prospects for the national team. Joe Hart is 6/4 to start England’s first game in the 2018 World Cup while Jack Wilshere is 6/4 to make it into the next England squad.
