Wenger And Mourinho To Be Sent To The Stands? Southgate Is As Good As England Boss.

Saturday’s early kick off sees old rivalries resumed as Mourinho and Wenger come head to head at Old Trafford. William Hill offer 10/1 that either Mourinho or Wenger are sent to the stands during the match (for which Manchester United are the 8/5 slight favourites). Given their history, there is a danger that emotions could boil over on the touchline and it is 10/3 that the pair fail to shake hands at the end of the game.

“There has often been a fair amount of needle on the touchline between Wenger & Mourinho and the behaviour of the managers could be the main talking point post game, especially if United decide to park the bus again,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

To be sent to the stand: 10/1 either; 20/1 Wenger; 20/1 Mourinho

Will Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho shake hands at the end of the match: 1/5 yes; 10/3 no

Match odds: 8/5 Manchester United; 7/4 Arsenal; 23/10 draw

Gareth Southgate is apparently meeting the FA on Monday for a job interview, which almost seems redundant given that William Hill make the former Middlesbrough boss 1/33 to bag the role on a permanent basis with Arsene Wenger the second favourite at 16/1.

“It would appear as though the FA are simply going through the motions and we think that Southgate already has the job,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next permanent England manager: 1/33 Gareth Southgate; 16/1 Arsene Wenger; 25/1 Alan Pardew; 25/1 Claudio Ranieri; 25/1 Eddie Howe; 25/1 Glenn Hoddle; 25/1 Ralf Rangnick; 25/1 Roberto Mancini; 40/1 BAR
