Two Ten Grand Brexit Bets

TWO WILLIAM HILL customers each staked £10,000 EU Referendum bets on Wednesday – and both were for the poll to return a 'Leave' outcome as the bookmaker predicted that over £20milion would eventually be riding on the verdict.

'One of the bets was online, from an established client in South West London, the other was in a Dover betting shop from a previously unknown customer. Both were at odds of 12/5, so both clients stand to receive back £34,000' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'With a bet of £60,000 for 'Remain' yesterday and others of £100,000 and £40,000 already placed, we are anticipating an industry record turnover for betting on a political event, of in excess of £20million.'

William Hill say 71% of all individual bets they havev taken on the EU Referendum have been for 'Leave', with 73% of all stakes on the outcome for 'Remain'.

WITH THE CLOSING TIME FOR REGISTERING TO BE ABLE TO VOTE IN THE REFERENDUM BEING EXTENDED, WILLIAM HILL ARE OFFERING ODDS OF 6/4 THAT THE VOTER TURNOUT WILL BE 68% OR OVER, WITH UNDER 68% THE 1/2 FAVOURITE.

WILLIAM HILL : EU REFERENDUM OUTCOME....1/3 (75% CHANCE) REMAIN; 12/5 (29%) LEAVE.
