Donald Backers On Course For Hefty Payout

A POLITICAL PUNTER from Edinburgh has opened a new account with William Hill to stake a £10,000 bet on Donald Trump as his first  wager, while a Cornish client of the bookmaker now stands to collect over £100,000 should Trump win the Presidential Election. Hills have shortened Mr Trump's odds from 6/4 to 11/8 – the shortest price at which he has yet been quoted.

'Ever since we first quoted Donald Trump at 150/1 in April last year, expecting to take very little serious money for him, he has been consistently backed to pull off the biggest ever Presidential election shock result' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. 'John Mappin, from Cornwall, has been convinced Trump would win for over a year, and has since placed over thirty bets on him. He has so far staked £15,000 and will make a profit of over £85,000 if he is proved correct. We also have a £15,000 bet for Mr Trump on the books. As things stand there is a significant six figure difference for us between a Clinton or a Trump win, so we are hoping Hillary remains healthy for the duration of the Election process.'

LATEST WILLIAM HILL PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION ODDS......4/7 Hillary Clinton; 11/8 Donald Trump;20/1 Joe Biden; 25/1 Bernie Sanders; 40/1 Tim Kaine; 80/1 Gary Johnson; 80/1 Paul Ryan; 100/1 Michael Bloomberg; 200/1 John Kasich; Mike Pence; Mitt Romney; 500/1Evan McMullin; Jill Stein.

WILLIAM HILL make 2019 Even money favourite to be the year in which Brexit finally becomes official. Hills offer 6/4 that it doesn't happen before 2020, 7/2 that it will happen during or before 2018.
