Tokyo Sexwale Odds Tumble As FIFA Elections Draw Close

William Hill have cut the odds of Tokyo Sexwale winning the FIFA Presidential election after a late gamble has seen his odds tumble from 66/1 to 25/1. The South African delegate is still a long way back in the betting to become the next leader of FIFA, however and it is Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim al Khalifa who is favourite at 8/15, having attracted 50% of money staked on the market. Gianni Infantino is the 6/4 second favourite.

“Tokyop Sexwale is making a late push for the presidency according to our punters, however, it is the top two in the market who look as though they are going to be fighting it out,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next permanent FIFA President: 8/15 Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim al Khalifa; 6/4 Gianni Infantino; 8/1 Prince Ali al Hussein; 25/1 Tokyo Sexwale; 66/1 Jerome Champagne
