Tizzard Horses Hot For Hennessy

Native River is the 5-1 favourite for the Hennessy Gold Cup with William Hill and currently stands as the worst result in the book.

Given the competitive nature of the race there has been a good spread of money and a number of price cuts since the start of the week. The key horses to shorten significantly are:

Blaklion – 7-1 from 12-1

Henri Parry Morgan – 7-1 from 16-1

Theatre Guide – 18-1 from 25-1

Houblon Des Obeaux – 20-1 from 25-1

Aubusson - 25-1 from 40-1

“Punters are putting their faith in Colin Tizzard to come up trumps again after Cue Card’s heroics last weekend. Both Native River and Theatre Guide have been hotly backed all week and you would not rule out the in-form trainer from bagging a Hennessy one-two.”

Tizzard has shortened from 25-1 at the start of the season to 6-1 to win the Trainers’ Title with William Hill, but that price could be cut even more if he lands Newbury’s big Saturday race.
