Theresa May - But Then Again, She May Not...

The odds about Theresa May opting to go for an early General Election next year have been cut from 6/4 to 6/5 by William Hill who do, though, think she is more likely to wait for the scheduled date of 2020, which is quoted as 10/11 favourite.

But whenever it does take place the Tories are odds-on favourites at 8/11 to win the next General Election with an overall majority, with a Hung Parliament the 13/8 second favourite and a Labour majority offered at 6/1.

Theresa May is a 4/9 chance still to be Prime Minister on December 31, 2020, and 13/8 not to be.

'It would be a calculated gamble to opt for the early Election but could backfire, and we currently believe she is more likely than not to leave it until 2020' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
