Simple Verse Bounces Back

Simple Verse bounced back to form to win the Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster and is now 8-1 from 25-1 with William Hill for the Long Distance Cup on Champions Day and 6-1 from 12-1 for the Champion Fillies & Mares Stakes.

William Hill initially priced Simple Verse at 14-1 for the Long Distance Cup, but that was quickly snapped up by punters.

“Simple Verse is back to her best after a quiet spell and she could be a force to be reckoned with as Autumn approaches,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Earlier on the card, Rich Legacy scored in the May Hill Stakes and has been installed at 33-1 for the 1000 Guineas.
