Significant Gambles On The Revenant And Stallone To Win Oscars Sees Odds Cut

William Hill have been forced to cut the odds on two of the big awards at the upcoming Oscars after a gamble on both The Revenant to win Best Picture and Sylvester Stallone to win Best Supporting Actor. Bets of up to £1500 have been wagered on both within the last 24 hours and have seen the odds of The Revenant cut from 4/7 to 8/15 and Stallone’s price go from 1/3 to 2/7.

“The likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Brie Larson are looking like certainties to win their awards but Sylvester Stallone and The Revenant are inching towards that kind of status if our punters are to be believed,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
