Sam Allardyce To Be Appointed This Week?

It is believed that Steve Bruce has been interviewed for the England job and he is the 8/1 second favourite, having overtaken Jurgen Klinsmann, however, it is Sam Allardyce who is the clear favourite according to William Hill. The Sunderland boss is just 1/6 to succeed Roy Hodgson.

“Steve Bruce has moved into peripheral contention, however, Sam Allardyce is the runaway leader in this race according to the odds and it looks highly likely that an announcement could be made this week,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
