Rooney’s Odds Cut To Leave The Club Before The End Of The Season

Wayne Rooney and Jose Mourinho have come under fire following Manchester United’s sub-par performances over the last couple of weeks and William Hill think that Wayne Rooney could be coming to the end of the road at the club. He is 11/2 to have left the club by the end of the January transfer window and has been cut from 7/1 to 11/4 to have left by the end of next summer’s transfer window.

With a potential move on the cards, it is just 16/1 that Rooney fails to beat Bobby Charlton’s Manchester United goalscoring record of which he is four goals away.

“Rooney’s form at the start of this season has come under fire and he could well be on his way if United’s poor form continues,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Jose Mourinho is not escaping the firing line either and is 11/2 to have left Manchester United before the end of the season while he is 5/4 to leave the club before Wayne Rooney does (4/7 Rooney goes before him).

Rooney is 9/2 to fail to start against Leicester.
