Quick March To Trigger Brexit?

BREXIT SECRETARY DAVID DAVIS appeared before the Select Committee apparently still confident that the government will trigger Artcile 50 before the end of March, 2017 - but bookmakers William Hill are not so sure and currently offer 8/11(57% chance) that the triggering will NOT happen before that date, whilst quoting Even money that it WILL happen before the end of next March.

'Mr Davis seems confident that the government will stick to its scheduled target of triggering Article 50 before the end of March 2017, but our political punters are betting that won't happen' said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Meanwhile, Hills have also had to cut their odds for Theresa May to be the next major Party leader to stand down from the position, shortening her from 7/2 third favourite to 11/4 joint second favourite after support for her to be the first of the five to go.

William Hill make Jeremy Corbyn 2/1 to be the first to stand down, and also offer 11/4 Paul Nuttall; Theresa May; 6/1 Nicola Sturgeon; 7/1 Tim Farron.
