Queen's Dartmouth In King George Battle

Dartmouth, owned by Her Majesty The Queen, is William Hill’s 2-1 favourite for the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

“The Queen has a great chance of winning the King George, but Highland Reel wasn’t beaten far by Dartmouth in the Hardwicke Stakes and the pair could well be battling it out for victory again,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Highland Reel is second-favourite at 11-4, while the two best-backed horses since Postponed came out of the race on Wednesday are 7-2 chance Wings Of Desire and 5-1 chance Erupt.

In the York Stakes, the race is very quiet from a betting perspective with Time Test the 2-5 favourite.

In the Gigaset International Stakes, Librisa Breeze is 8-1 favourite, with Suzi’s Connoisseur at 9-1 and Heaven’s Guest at 10-1. William Hill has taken a good spread of business in the race.
