Punters Pile On Postponed

William Hill hacked the odds of Postponed to 6-4 from 2-1 to win the Juddmonte International Stakes, after a wave of bets for Roger Varian’s favourite.

Hill’s biggest bet so far is a £4000 bet on Postponed that was placed in a shop in London.

“Postponed is strongest in the betting and we’ve laid plenty of bets already, including a four grand wager in one of our shops. There are plenty of potential dangers, but if he puts in his best he will be very tough to beat,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

“Postponed could be a stinker of a result for us if he wins.”

Meanwhile, Highland Reel appears to be the number one option for Ballydoyle and William Hill cut his odds to 6-1 from 8-1, while pushing out stablemate US Army Ranger to 8-1 from 4-1.

Time Test has also been eased out to 4-1 from 7-2, with punters showing little interest in him so far.
