Punters Peer(age)ing At Nigel's Odds

Bookmakers William Hill are offering odds of 11/4 that Nigel Farage will receive a peerage  before January 1, 2020 – but 1/4 that he will not.

'Mr Farage is arguably the highest profile politician in the UK outside of the cabinet and he has certainly influenced the whole political landscape of the country since he first became UKIP leader' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe, 'There are many who feel he would deserve such an honour'

Nigel Farage to receive peerage before Jan 1, 2020 – 11/4 yes; 1/4 no.

Next UKIP Leader: 1/8 Paul Nuttall; 13/2 Suzanne Evans; 10/1 John Rees Evans.

ARTICLE 50 NOW ODDS-ON NOT TO BE TRIGGERED BY END OF MARCH 2017

William Hill now believe it is an odds-on shot that Article 50 will NOT be triggered by the end of March 2017 as Theresa May has been suggesting, and offer 4/6 that it will not, 11/10 that it will be.

'We had made it odds-on that Artcile 50 would be triggered by the end of March 2017, but political punters believe it will not happen and now the odds have been switched around to reflect that opinion' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
