Punters Happy As No Real Cupsets Upsets Bookies

The 'Magic of the Cup" was in short supply on Saturday after short-priced favourites up and down the country came in for punters but leaving romanticists everywhere, disappointed. At William Hill, the top three best backed sides came in with Arsenal (2/9), Stoke (4/5) and Everton (1/7) all came in. Out of the top ten best backed sides, only West Brom and Ipswich failed to notch wins and even goal shy Manchester United (1/5) managed to squeak through into the fourth round after a last gasp winner against Sheffield United.

Non league Eastleigh's Cup dream continued and they have a replay at the Macron Stadium after drawing with Bolton. They are 5/1 to defeat Bolton and make it into the fourth round.

"There were no huge upsets although, the Cup produced some magical moments with a couple of smaller sides getting the chance to do it all again," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Third Round Replay: 4/9 Bolton; 5/1 Eastleigh; 11/4 draw

FA Cup winner: 4/1 Manchester City; 11/2 Arsenal; 7/1 Chelsea; 7/1 Manchester United; 10/1 Liverpool; 10/1 Tottenham; 14/1 Everton; 20/1 Crystal Palace; 20/1 Stoke; 20/1 West Ham; 25/1 Leicester; 33/1 BAR
