Can £100,000 Donald Gamble Trump 550,000 Euro Clinton Punt?

WITH ONE FEMALE CLIENT OF William Hill hoping to make a 200,000 euro profit from her record-breaking 550,000euro bet on Hillary Clinton to win the US Election, a male client of the same company is hoping to emerge £100,000 better off from his series of THIRTY bets on Donald Trump........

Cornish businessman John Mappin,(CONTACT DETAILS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST), has been backing Trump to pull off a shock victory, since he was a 33/1 outsider in the betting with William Hill and the combined pay out from his 30 bets on him both winning the Nomination then the Presidency, now totals up to £100,000.

'Mr Mappin nailed his colours to the Trump mast in July 2015 when he was very much an outsider, and has been backing him regularly since. He has staked some £15,000 so far and stands to receive £100,000 should he be proved correct' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Meanwhile, this week William Hill have taken the biggest bet ever staked on either the UK General or US Presidential Elections – with a 46 year old female client placing 550,000 euros (equating to £481,232 when it was struck) on Hillary Clinton becoming President, at odds of 4/11 (73% chance of success) in the hope or expectation of making a profit of 200,000 euros.

'As far as we are aware this is the biggest wager ever taken on either the US Presidential, or the UK General, Elections.' said Hill's spokesman Sharpe.'The US Election is set to attract a record £10million-plus betting turnover industry-wide.'

Hills have cut Clinton's odds from 1/3 to 2/7 favourite, with Donald Trump drifting from 5/2 to 11/4.

**The biggest bet ever placed on any political event remains the £900,000 gambled on the outcome of the 2014 Scottish Referendum by a male William Hill client from South West London who was successful and received a payout of £1,093,333.33.
