Arsenal missed the chance to move into pole position in the race for the Premier League title after failing to defeat Stoke. Instead Manchester City head the betting with William Hill at Even money, although had Arsenal won at the Britannia, they would have been front of the pack. Instead, Arsene Wenger’s side are 6/4 second favourites with Leicester 12/1 and Spurs 14/1.


In the race for top four Manchester United are 4/5 after defeating Liverpool while Jurgen Klopp’s side are 4/1.


“The top of the table became even more congested this weekend and while a few sides like Everton and Liverpool saw their hopes of qualifying for Europe take a hit, others, like Manchester United and Spurs gave their respective challenges a boost,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
