Odds Tumble As Lowest Temperature Of Winter Recorded

With the coldest temperature of the winter recorded overnight in Scotland, William Hill are offering 12/1 (cut from 16/1) that the record coldest temperature north of the border (-27.2C) is beaten before the end of April.

It is the same price that the coldest temperatures in England (-26.1C) and Wales (-23.3C) are broken.

“After the coldest temperature of the winter so far was recorded overnight, we have cut the odds of the record being broken,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “The temperature is set to improve in the next couple of days, however, we still have a lot of winter left.”

Lowest temperature in Wales to be broken by the end of April (-23.3C): 12/1

Lowest temperature in England to be broken by the end of April (-26.1C): 12/1

Lowest temperature in Scotland to be broken by the end of April (-27.2C): 12/1
