Odds Slashed On Corbyn Again…Ballot One Horse Race?

William Hill have once more been forced to slash the odds of Jeremy Corbyn winning the Labour leadership ballot. Originally offered at Even money at the end of last week, he is now just 4/11 with Owen Smith 9/4 and Angela Eagle 14/1.

“Corbyn was quite a large price at the end of last week and since then his odds have plunged meaning that the leadership contest is pretty much a one horse race now,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

The Conservatives are 6/5 to win a majority the next General Election, whenever it may be with Labour 4/1 to win a majority. It is 15/8 that another General Election takes place this year, but odds on at 4/6 that is not until 2020.
