Odds Cut On Record Hottest Temperature In 2016
With perhaps the first real sign of sustained warm weather around the corner, William Hill have cut the odds of 2016 seeing the hottest day on record. Originally offered at 16/1 with William Hill, it is now 12/1 that the record temperature of 38.1C is broken this year. It is 8/1 that 100f is broken this year.
“With temperatures having risen steadily this week, we have seen a number of punters who have clearly been caught in the warm weather nipping in to our shops to put a couple of quid on us seeing record temperatures this year,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
Hottest day on record to be broken in 2016(38.1C): 12/1
Temperature to top 100f in 2016: 8/1
