Odds Cut For UK Not To Leave EU Before 2020

BOOKMAKERS William Hill have cut their odds for the UK NOT to leave the EU before 2020 from 3/1 to 2/1. They offer 4/6 that the departure will come in 2019; 4/1 in 2018. 'Political punters are betting that the realisation of Brexit will happen later rather than sooner' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

JEREMY CORBYN is 2/1 to cease to be Labour leader during 2016 with William Hill who offer 7/2 that he will stand down in 2017; 7/1 2018; 11/1 2019; 7/4 2020; 9/1 2021 or later.

Owen Smith is 5/2 favourite with Hills to succeed Corbyn, with Angela Eagle 3/1; Daid Miliband 6/1; 10/1 Hilary Benn, Dan Jarvis, Tom Watson.

The next General Election will take place in 2020, say William Hill – offering odds of 4/6 about that being the case, with a 2016 Election 5/2. They also offer 5/1 2017; 20/1 2018; 20/1 2019.
