Not Falling for Kyrgios Charm Offensive

William Hill Australia: Leading Australian bookmaker William Hill has Nick Kyrgios at $51 to win the Australian Open despite some bookmakers rating him as short as $23.

“Bookmakers around the country are running scared of Nick Kyrgios’ form and obvious new charm offensive, pricing him as short as $23 to take out the 2016 Australian Open,” William Hill’s Tim Ashworth said.

“We always see a sentimental push from punters for Aussie players.

“His talent is undeniable, but at $51 he’s got more chance of going on a double-date with Stan Wawrinka and Donna Vekic than taking out the year’s first Slam.

“Our rivals have fallen for it, but we’re happy to take them on. Nick is more than welcome to prove us wrong too.”

Australian Open Men’s Winner: Novak Djokovic $1.70; Andy Murray $6.50; Roger Federer $9; Stan Wawrinka $13; Rafael Nadal $15; Kei Nishikori $26; Milos Raonic $34; Marin Cilic $34; Tomas Berdych $41; Nick Kyrgios $51;
