Muthmir Favourite To Fire In Bullet

Muthmir is 11-4 favourite with William Hill to win the Beverley Bullet Sprint on Saturday, with the William Haggas horse looking to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Goodwood last time. However, it is a drop in class and bookmakers reckon he is the one to beat.

“Muthmir is the smoking gun. All the evidence points to a big run in the Beverley Bullet ,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Last year’s winner and runner-up, Maarek and Line Of Reason, are not split by much in the betting. Line Of Reason ran well in a competitive handicap at York most recently and is 6-1, while Maarek is a 7-1 chance. Richard Fahey’s Mr Lupton is also 7-1 having run below par at Newbury.

Meanwhile, Thikriyaat continues to be strongly bet in the Doom Bar Celebration Mile. He’s 13-8 jolly with William Hill.
