Manic Street Preachers 4/1 For Number One With Welsh Anthem

The Manic Street Preachers have debuted their official Wales Euros 2016 song and William Hill make them 4/1 to score a number one single with Stronger Together (C’Mon Wales).

“The Manics have a loyal fanbase and given that this is the first new material for two years, it is quite likely the single will be picked up by football fans and non-football fans alike,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

It begs the question as to what aural delights will be coming from the great and good of English music and it is 3/1 that Stormzy charts highest of any potential football themed tunes ahead of Baddeil and Skinner at 7/1 and Olly Murs at 9/1.
