Manchester United 8/1 To Defend FA Cup

Just 35% of William Hill customers were celebrating Manchester United’s FA Cup victory because, despite the fact that Manchester United were odds on to lift the trophy, they were largely swerved by punters who fancied a Palace victory. Only 5% of punters backed the draw.

One man who was celebrating though was Louis van Gaal who lifted the trophy as United manager, but could it be the last time he takes charge of them? He is 6/5 to have left Manchester United by the start of June and Evens to have left the club by the time next season kicks off.

“Van Gaal has secured United’s first silverware since Sir Alex Ferguson left but not even that could save his job,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
