Limato Odds Lacerated For Sprint Cup

William Hill cut the odds for Limato in the Haydock Sprint Cup market, with the Henry Candy-trained horse now 2-1 from 5-2 after the final declarations.

“Punters have swept up the odds since the final declarations and he is now the hot horse for the Sprint Cup,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

As a result of Limato’s sweeping price slash, Quiet Reflection has been pushed out to 9-2 from 4-1, The Tin Man is 6-1 from 5-1 and Dancing Star is now 8-1 from 7-1.

In the Old Borough Cup, Montaly has shortened the most, now 15-2 with William Hill from 12-1, while Magic Circle and Shakopee are fighting it out for favouritism.

Further ahead in the calendar, Winx is the 6-4 favourite for the bookmaker sponsored William Hill Cox Plate. Charlie Appleby recently mentioned his intention to run Tryster in the race and Hills have installed him at 25-1 to win the race.
